DIRECTV (Bottlecaps Kit)

Each year, bar and restaurant owners order DIRECTV B2B merch kits to help score new biz on game days. Sometimes kits focus on particular sports, others sell sports in general. Generalized kits are difficult to pleasingly design, for (royalty-free stock budgets aside), every space-hogging, professional sports team logo must be included. All samples on this page (excluding the Valentine’s poster) showcase my “Bottlecaps” merch kit. Placing 162 DIRECTV sports programming, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and World Cup team logos on bottlecaps was conceptual and more visually pleasing than a static grid of marks. DIRECTV's micro internal creative team regularly competes with Deutsch and Grey for its own accounts. As a long-term permalancer I art directed, penned headlines and long-form copy, paper engineered and even illustrated for every line of business.
